For my first blog post ever I'm a little at a loss for words..... Trust me that doesn't happen often. Guess I should introduce myself.
Well.. My name is Natalie Pelto and I'm a very free spirited girl whose lived an interesting life that I've enjoyed every moment of so far.... with very few regrets. This blog isn't going to be about my life don't worry, I know people aren't interested in that but you may be interested in the health tips and tricks I've learned along the way while working a full time job all the while cooking for a very difficult diet we had to follow to heal my "almost" diagnosed autistic little boy. I may have gotten your attention a little more now. You wanna hear the thing that will really get your ears to perk up! My little boy who was completely non verbal at 4 years old going into school that everyone told me to just accept and put that diagnosis on him.... well he never got that diagnosis and he is now speaking, full of life and a real social animal with A's in language. Was it just a fluke..... It wasn't. I've learned a great deal about food and it's healing properties since that first appointment when the pediatrician looked me in the eye to give me that terrible news which I'll never forget. Food became such a passion that I became a certified Nutritional Therapist and Detox Specialist all the while still working full time and managing all this. My wonderful mommies it's totally possible. I'm going to give you the tricks I wish someone had taught me....
My intention is to help you mommies and maybe daddies with some tricks to make your lives easier in the kitchen and home while using whole food ingredients and shortening your times. I'll also include tons of recipes for detoxing your home environment such as cleaners, beauty products, spa products, 5 ingredient laundry detergent that costs under 7$ for 7 liters..WHAT!? and amazing cooking hacks.
The real goal and health check in well... is to help you all bring yourselves back to your best selves. The no brainfog, high energy, childlike curiosity and passionate filled people you are supposed to be. Once you've arrived to this perfect state you will naturally start tapping into your creative genius.... That purpose so many of us are looking for... well it's there blocked under bad food, toxic lifestyles, mental health medication. So much of the population is depressed and this is a side affect of not living up to your own purpose.
Deep down people who feel this way understand this. Do you think if you woke up in the morning thinking OMG I adore my job, I love my husband (wife), my kids and I know exactly what I'm supposed to be doing today and it's going to be awesomely creative and I'll be touching and evolving our population and world for the better. Not only that but it will be on my own Einstein time.... you think those people are depressed. We can all live this way. You just have start with radical self care and start saying yes to you! I'm not even asking you to be perfect! The road to success is a sad, squiggly line and not a straight one. So best to be committed but not perfect(Tiffany Peterson). You stick to this saying you will have better luck at succeeding in any aspect of your life.
I'm hoping I can help you on this crazy journey...As Lisa Nichols says "Be wildly bold with your actions!" By helping you I'll have done my purpose!
